the "What are you doing NOW" thread (part deux)

trying to put some order back into the kitchen - having the sink replaced with stainless steel (debris from cutting up the tile that was on there all over the place) - installing new stainless steel slate gas oven/stove which means installing the gas service & replacing refrigerator (also slate stainless steel) - Brit installing granite countertops

damn this place is a wreck..............................
But it’s all for the best it’s got to get ugly before it gets pretty

well it's pretty much hit it.......................

There was nearly an inch of cement board dust on top of the stove - had to clean that off to make breakfast this morning. The old countertop was tile, glued to cement backerboard glued to 3/4 plywood. Debris everywhere.

Doing research on getting my ORV beach permit for the Outer banks. Driving down in few weeks for vacation with the family.
Also did some research on a party boat to do some fish out there too ??

Getting the boat ready to take an old work colleague and her sister on a "Puffin Safari". Folks from away just dote on the little birds. Not a fan myself, neither from an ornithological or gastronomic perspective, but it sure leaves the touristas talking.

To ensure we don't see any BFT, I've already loaded the boat with heavy artillery, squid spread bars and gimbal belts, the most effective tuna repellents known to man...

Working on a kayak launch dock design. My ass is to old to be climbing off the edge of a dock into a kayak .... let alone trying to climb back out !
