I like the thread wrap on the split butt grip. How is this type of wrap done?

Would you like me to put the two rods side by side?
This way we can comment on diameter and tapers.
If you like I can stick the rods in a sand spike and
while rigged pull on them. This way you can see how
they react under load. What are the ratings? What's the length?
I have to have it! At the stage that I'm at. This is what I need.
