Does anyone remember any variation of what we called ‘Poison Ball’. Basically it was dodge ball without teams. We played it in a fenced in area, maybe 75 by 75 or so. If you got hit with the ball you were out, if you caught the the ball the thrower was out and you were allowed to take two steps and throw. Spaldeens were the weapons of choice.

We usually played that in the handball courts in the evening after regulars left.
Also loved hand ball and pickup games of anything in the Park seasonally.

Loved wen we had to share gloves for baseball games and throw your mit to the guy who did not have one wen changing sides.
