Whats on tonights Menu

Hate to break it to you Jack, but it ain't just cod that has Anisakis, seal worm, infections. Haddock often have them; I filleted 10 the other day and 3 had worms. Other fish that I've pulled worms out of include Acadian Redfish, Sculpin, and believe it or not, I filleted a Striped Bass once that had one.

Bottom line, as seal populations increase, you're going to start seeing those little wrigglers in more fish fillets.
What's the correlation with seals? Feces?

Hate to cause more nightmares but in the last 3 years i filleted 2 fluke from the southshore with worms in em.!!!! Any body who eats any raw fish without freezing first and i mean freezing 0 deg or better is a fool

Everything sucked tonight

I was rushing and tired and ruined everything. But I ate it anyway?

Thin sliced top round ( like minute steaks) with onions .
I cooked on lower than optimum temp
Mashed taters came out like glue? second time this has ever happened and I don’t know why, last time was over 10 years ago. Corn was good and sweet but I left it on too long making it dry.
I don’t think I ever screwed up a meal this bad ever . ?
