We went out to eat. I had one fork of mashed taters and one fork of the turkey. Both tasted like crap. I will never eat out on a holiday again ?

Not being able to make my annual pilgrimage to Virginia for deep fried turkey, I indulged myself. Prosciutto di Parma, marinated Mozzarella knots, Sun Dried tomatoes, Kalamata Olives and oh, a bottle of Merlot.

Better late then never...we get that a lot. People come back from where they were visiting and say. The turkey they served up tasted like “ass”!!!

My in-laws made 3 turkeys. 2 fried and one in the oven. I’ll be honest with you. The fried turkey skin, wings, and legs were great. The white meat from the oven bird was better than the fried I think.
