Why does Iran hate us. What did we do to them. Anyone know the history. Why do we continue to harass them and they us. You think they have nothing better to do?

The western world has been having trouble with the Islamist world since before the founding of the country. I'm sure the left will blame the U.S., like the other guy who seems to think we WANT to go to war with them. But these people have a hatred for pretty much everything and everyone. I don't think it's possible to do the Rodney King "Can't we all just get along?" thing.
 
Sigh. I was talking about how the left thinks America is to be blamed for everything. "If only we didn't do this or that these problems wouldn't exist." My point is that they're impossible to get along with. If for no other reason than it's more comfortable for them to go to war with Western infidels than to fight their tribal wars among other Islamists. If we weren't around they'd be at war with each other. Come to think of it, even with us around they're at war with each other. See the common denominator?

So you agree they are just a bunch of crazies and we need to erase the board and start over with a rebuild?

SIGH!!! WE said the same thing about the native Americans......I'm sure the people of Iran have no interest in fukking with us.....they just want to raise their families in peace,,,,it's their whacked leaders and our current whack job itching for a fight

THE RIGHT WING DEHUMANIZES the islamists to justify genocide....like Hitler did with the Jews......they do this..they do that...blah blah blah...kill em all!!

Even the republicans are not happy with the briefing and justification or timing of this latest escalation

I don't think there's anything we can do to erase the board. At least not without some serious ethical problems. But it helps a lot to understand who we're dealing with and to be realistic about what we can and cannot accomplish. Best I would hope for is to keep some of the insanity suppressed and contain it within that region.

UNFORTUNATELY sooner or later the entire board of homo sapiens sapiens will be erased.....there have been 5 or so mass extinctions on Earth in the past......no minor distinctions will be made by mother nature

Most conservatives are very against abortion of those not even born......does that go for Muslims too?? Do you think it's ok for them to have abortions?? You seem to think it's ok to wipe them off the face of the earth as some kind of monsters....yet these people are humans created by God also...or no??? How do right wingers condemn abortion of the "unborn" on one hand and justify killing live born human beings??? I don't understand that

Looks like the Iranians are not happy with the constant tension with America.....they are rioting...protesting....tearing down posters of their conservative war mongering leaders......and claiming the enemy is not America but their leaders......SIGH...I told ya so.......it's not people...it's governments!!!
 
No kidding. Too bad your buddy Obama didn't do more to support that kind of thing during the Arab Spring. We wouldn't be having this conversation right now.
 
it's up to the people to overthrow their own rulers....no one likes foreign interference even with good intentions which it rarely is....where you been hiding? :-)
