The Onancock Chronicles the Eastern shore

We have lots of stuff you don't have Larry !!

We have insane traffic, lots of angry people and crazy high property tax. Ha !

Broadway, Pizza, every kind of restaurant, snow removal, tons of party boats, shopping within a five min drive.

Pizza is a big one for me, I really miss good pizza when I'm out in Utah. Its never a viable alternative out there. I can understand now why those frozen Pizzas in the supermarket are so popular, they are better than 99.9% of the pizza parlor pizzas in the rest of the country.

And that's the trade off. While I stand on my dock sipping whisky, watching the sunset and catching striped bass, I know I'm coming out ahead...

....... i'm going to miss the pizza.

John - we've actually got a pretty darn good pizza place right here in Onancock - guy from Jersey opened it about a year ago - very close if not better then many pizza places I've eaten at in NY - next time you're down we'll go

From the guy that ordered pizza at Pasta Pasta.

because I was in the mood - you said it was pretty good - so I went with it - what my friend is your point here?

It's all subjective.

your taxes sure as heck aren't....

Paid $10,000 in Kings Park
pay $1200 here

so if I lived another 10 years in both places I would have paid $88,000 more just for the privilege of living in NY

just think of how many more fishing trips you could get out of that...

You said that the pizza was so bad down there you were eating as much as possible up here.

that was prior to this new place opening up - because yeah - pizza sucks down here or anywhere out of the tri state area - but that my friend is no reason to stay there

But some people don't want to live in a one horse town. And not everyone is money driven.
