I didn't think the 5.3 qt would fit that roast. Amazon doesn't have an 8 qt listed. They have a 6 qt with the rotisserie for $179.99

The roast was 5.5lb ...if that helps. And yes it fit nice and snug.

The basket on mine is 9x8 by 5" high,not big enough for one of those huge oven stuffers but plenty of room for a normal size young chicken and no more over cooked dry chicken,it comes out so juicy with a nice crispy skin,get one you won't be sorry..
