It happens sorry gonna step up my game gets lots back on track hereNothing seems to stay on track.![]()
it’s not about dom or what he saidTony. You really need to read more carefully. What Roccus is saying it that your Doctor could be the best in the world. That has nothing to do with the early tests. Those early tests were not very reliable with positive results as many gave false positives. It has zero to do with your DR. SMH
Science is kinda like a religion
You have the faith or you dont
I don’t have much in either
Inaccurate data killsIt's there, at least on a computer screen. Maybe you were looking on reduced size screen on your smart phone. See the green PRINT REPORT button in the upper right hand corner. Then you an choose the Advanced and Detailed Report option to get all the info...

If it makes you feel better, call me a Bozo all you want, but please leave esteemed colleagues like Drs. Fauchi and Birx out of your rants. I know that these folks have saved millions of lives during their distinguished careers.
Personally "This Bozo" started saving 7000 US lives per year in 1986 when he was involved in getting the first AIDS blood screening assay into production and out on the market. That was followed up with the first Hepatitis C assay for blood screening. After that, this Bozo was responsible for the oversight of all the blood screening assays used by the American Red Cross and most of the blood banks across the world. So I'm confident Dr. Bozo Dom has saved hundreds of thousands of lives , probably millions, with the help of esteemed colleagues to use science to solve real global health issues. That fact makes one feel good about what they've done for mankind.
Data never kills, ignoring it does. I hope you never have to watch a loved one die if someone chose to ignore irrefutable data because it was the expedient thing.
Because they are mineTony. How come your opinions are correct but EVERYONE else is wrong. SMH wake up
OK children, cut the BS, whining, temper tantrums and other assorted stuff. This is a SCIENCE thread. If you don't believe in it, then don't post on this thread. There's another Coronavirus thread that you can freely vent your bile.
Got a question? Ask it and I will answer it honestly with the best science I can find at the current moment. Have some data that seems to contradict conventional wisdom, post them! I'll gladly discuss and research it; that's what this thread is for. I'm learning volumes here and I love to learn.
Got an opinion? Take it to the other thread.
Want to discuss economic impact of actions being done as a result of this pandemic? Take it to the other thread, my PhD. is in Physiology and Biophysics, not economics. That being said, it doesn't take a PhD in Economics to realize the huge ramifications and impact of these actions to protect human life. Living where I do, with a huge small business economy based in hospitality, I'm wondering about how many of my favorite small shops and restaurants will be around by the end of this. I too look at the lines at the food banks with great sorrow; guess where my stimulus check went? I'm blessed in that I am able to give it to others who need it more than I do.
Got a conspiracy theory? Go to the other thread UNLESS you actually have verifiable data. For example I just learned that the PLANDEMIC Video is based on a 1998 paper in Science that was retracted 2 years later because no one could reproduce it. Shades of the anti-vaxxers quoting studies that the original author later said was invalid.
Don't like using masks and social distancing? Take it to the other thread. There my be others there who may care. FACT: These things do help prevent disease transmission, like them or not.
Please keep in mind that science is in constant flux so things change. What's "correct" today, may be BS tomorrow, and that's what makes science interesting.
I agree. After a walk to, around and back from our local park, and I hope I am wrong, but after seeing all the house parties going on I can only imagine that by May 24th there we be a bit of an increase in the numbers.
