If you only catch one all morning

Let it exceed 19" ... and it did. Still battling the damn sea lettuce. fished the outgoing for three hours (no choice as I only do mornings and only locally) until almost slack for this one hit. Netting the thing must have looked like a Laurel and Hardy show; I pray no one saw me when it evaded the net, jumped over my leg and into the yak and then jumped over my other leg and out to my rod hand side back into the water. Net tangled in the Scotty. I can not believe it stayed hooked. I had just switched to pink Gulp from white but it was such a slow go for me that I don't think color had anything to do with it. Had defrosted some venison last night so Mr. Fluke will wait until tomorrow night.

less sea lettuce, more fish, but no dinners. Two 15 1/2" weaks returned to grow some more, and a 17" fluke and that is all for me a day later. As I said yesterday, if I could catch just one fish an outing, and it was dinner, I would be happier. Started out with a rash guard and two tank tops and it was still cold at 8am and hot by 11. North wind was stiff and then practically died at 11.
