Neither love them nor hate them, it's just part of the musical background. And, of course, a line dance at about every wedding I've ever been to. It's a staple, just like a conga line.

Anyway, I just remember being surprised by some documentary that the original recordings were all multi-tracks of the same guy and the rest of them were hired for the live performances.

Just one of those trivial facts that sticks in the brain.
