Striped Bass 11/3/26

Took Jenn out on the Island Princess for some of the fall run. Chased the bunker pods, couldn't find a slot. Lots of dogs and this 1 over I had using a bunker spoon.

What was working? I went last year and diamond jigs caught almost nothing. Large rubber shads caught most of the fish.
Two guys with huge shads out-fished everyone else 5:1

Big Bass aren't dumb. They've probably been caught a couple times. Gotta match the hatch. Wink, wink

My son has been into fish at SUNY Maritime. Catching squid in the lights and using that to catch bass in the shadows.

Bingo! Working the bunker pods... so rubber shads, spoons, etc
