They are called Half Step and are still active and playing gigs all over the place!
I always liked Toomeys but it was quite a hike for us coming from the east end

I can't say I remember that name in particular although I've probably seen them there. I also can't ask the S-I-L because she makes up her reality as she goes along and probably doesn't remember it either. And yeah, you can't get any further away and still be in Suffolk county. The other side of the canal is in Nassau.
