Just irks me that comms. get a head start and usually mop up the bay spots before rec season opens!

Looking forward to toggin!
Watched a boat the other day while fluke fishing. They were definitely into blackfish anchored tight to the bridge and they had fish coming over the rail.

Yup, seen it out by me too. Like a vacuum cleaner cleaning up. Season opens and the "recs" after setting up their boats, securing bait, fuel, and TIME, catch a few shorts and we are supposed to be "thankful".

It's frustrating but we successfully have kept them at a 25 fish trip limit. I was at the table for that bill. And the beauty is that it's legislation not regulation. I hear whispers every year about the pressure to increase it but it's rough getting a bill discussed, let alone passed.

But in a small area pounding day after day. Small spots do not replenish very quickly, especially blackfish.
