The never ending chat thread, chat about anything That your up too

The HOV (High-Occupancy Vehicle) lane access program for low-emission vehicles is ending on October 1, 2025, in New York, impacting the Long Island Expressway (LIE) HOV lane rules for drivers who previously had a Clean Pass sticker. This federal program allowed electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles to use the HOV lane even with a single occupant, but Congress has not reauthorized it. Starting October 1st, these vehicles will need to meet the standard occupancy requirements (two or more occupants) to use the HOV lane.
That’s awesome
Peeps ecstatic that all them cars gonna be taken out of the HOV lane and thrown back into the other 3 lanes to clog those up, slow down traffic, and add to commute times
Brilliant 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Sometimes it’s forced. Jobs are not always portable at the same economic gain. Ask me.
True enough, I did 24 years of "hard time" in the Midwest, but rarely complained about it, at least on line...

Regardless, any complaints about where one lives qualifies as "W(h)ines" and deserve a proper cheese-like product to accompany them...

BTW, OP is retired so job location is irrelevant...
