If someone applies for a mortgage as a 2nd residence and than plans change and you allow a family member to live there rent free you have not broken any law.

I’d be very surprised if this case doesn’t get dismissed. As will James Comey’s.

Big difference in some simple terminology. Go back and read your comment and compare the differences in what the indictment states.

So based on what you are saying this would be an easy check of her bank statements and tax returns to see if indeed it was rented for consideration.
