People who are biologically intersex, and people with genuine gender dysphoria need compassion and help. It has to be terrible to feel like you don't belong in your own skin. What they don't need is to be exploited for a political agenda, or leveraged to subvert women. That's what the objection is.

I don't think this creep has a plumbing problem, and his mental health issues don't give him the right to compete with biological women.

An argument can be made that a combination of the two sexes makes a 3rd sex, but that’s a pointless argument.

My point was rather to demonstrate that although rare, it is a common event in human biology, and that some people that are otherwise “normal” have been born with this condition. They are among us in our everyday lives. Many have performed valiantly in our military, in our politics, clergy, all aspects of human endeavor.

As to the “swimmer” guy/girl, whomever it is. I don’t believe “men” should be competing in women’s sports. Nor do I believe it is a big deal. There are fewer than 10 “trans” I think the number is 7, that participate in NCAA sports. Let the colleges work this out. Trump, Foxnews & the like have turned this non problem into a problem and elevated it to the National consciousness. They prey on ignorance, and people’s fears. Better we appeal to our better angels.
