Not sure we deserve to be this high and have some major flaws but I’ll take it 🤷‍♂️
Seems like Hurley and staff put so much emphasis on defense that offense is lacking
They are winning some ugly games but winning nonetheless
2 games with St Johns in February gonna be nutz

Well, for the last couple of weeks I’ve been nervous about Friday’s game vs SJ at The Garden and didn’t think we had a chance given the fact its much more important to SJ’s season than ours
After the last 2 solid wins by UConn, Im feeling better and thinking its back up to 50-50. If we continue to play 40 full minutes on both ends of the court, SJ’s should be the nervous team, not us 👍

I’m also hoping for a good hard fought and challenging game that goes the distance rather than a lopsided game either direction so both teams help bring some much needed positive attention to the Big East👍
 
What a shame
2 teams going toe to toe and refs are way too involved and dictating the direction of the game
Too many fouls being called both ways against each team
 
Big win for SJU. Still can't shoot straight.
Good loss for UConn. They've been sleepwalking through the conference. Hurley now has the motivation to get his team to another level. They are really good and this loss will make them better.

Totally agree
St Johns stepped up big time and won that game in the last 2 minutes
They needed it and wanted it more and it showed
Hurley will definitely use it as motivation moving forward

Eh.............sometimes.

One of my daughter's stats when she played was how many FT did she receive? If she stepped up aggressively, she spent more time at the line.................

My son also for a short span competed in the BJJ circuit. Always the discussion was to compete strong and never let the match go to the judges and their point system................

Well, whatever flaws the Mens team has going into the tournaments, the Women Huskies are looking scary good!

Yep
For UConn a big east tournament is just another game that would have been nice to win
For St Johns it was the end all be all and a celebration like they just won the National Championship

This UConn team is NOT close to the caliber of the past 2 championship teams

Get off your high horse. Hurley even said they wanted it bad and got blown out! Might have cost them a #1 seed.

BUT

Its all about the tourney and SJU has alot to prove. UConn doesn't
 
I don’t ride horses
Your team won the Big East tournament
Enjoy it but they still have 6 games to try and win
I know its not UConn’s year this year so I have no delusions
We are not anywhere near as good as our record
