If the actual illness is a side effect: There isn't a single vaccine that doesn't have any side effects Do you have factual data to the contrary?

Are there vaccines that can cause the disease that they're meant to protect? As I pointed out vaccines that use attenuated virus occasionally do this, but none of the COVID vaccines use attenuated virus, so no to that. If you have factual data to the contrary, please provide a reference that cites specific, verified instances.

We're pretty self-effacing in general, but when posers start questioning open reading frames and start codons and we can get quite testy.

The meme ended up being a hanging curve, mea culpa, due to timing as I had just used the Witch Doctor analogy in a previous post and I just want to make sure someone didn't quote some Witch Doctors who think they know the molecular biology of immunology, which is not one of your practices...

Today I learned that this is true.

Yesterday I got a tetanus booster. Today I got hives.

I also learned that, while I may not be the sharpest butter knife in the drawer, at least I was swift enough not to get the other two vaxxes the Dr. recommended at the same time. This way at least I know which one is trying to kill me.

You weren't a butter knife here. There hasn't been a Tetanus Only booster for a long time, when it started being the DPT (Diphtheria Pertussis Tetanus). Of the three, Tetanus is the only one that is NOT transmitted from person to person, but since you fish, you're at risk when you get accidently hooked. If you haven't been boosted in like 7 years, the docs will routinely boost you again after they finish removing the hook from you.

The other 2 diseases are on the rise because of folks who refuse to vaccinate their children, and those 2 are serious diseases in the young, and we all need to be

Don't fret, your reaction was most likely due to the "Special Sauce" reagents in the vaccine meant to wake up your immune system. Regardless, you should mention it to physicians the next time you're asked roll up your sleeve.

I appreciate the insight. Thank you. I have to admit, I'm not a fan of these cocktail vaccinations. Too many things to go wrong at once.

I'm also supposed to get pneumonia and shingles vaxx. I'll be spacing them out over a couple of months as well, but I'll mention this for each of them. I guess this something where I may need to worry about anaphylaxis in the future?

I got both of those. Unfortunately however, I got Shingles about 17-18 years ago before they had the much better 2 dose vaccine. Besides, I wasn’t eligible for the vaccine back then. Shingles really sucks. 😡.

I've never heard a good word about it. So, since the Dr. finally cleared me for it, I'm going to roll up my sleeve again at some point soon. I just need to recover from this medical advancement first.
