Stupid question: All boats have ID. Hull ID and serial number plates from the manufacturer. Unless the person abandoning the boat, sanded off the Hull number as to be unrecognizable and removed all the serial number plates, can’t they find the owners and bill them?
I am sure the bill would be...
Or the water pump. Or the bottom end.
I hope he is getting good money for the charters. I can't imagine that engine will live as long as one that is used as expected.
I saw some old lures. The names ring a bell, but I have never used any of them (I tend to stay with bucktails). I do not surf cast. I fish on my boat.
Any worth considering?
I know you said it was your last post. But the fact that you called the Coast Guard and they MADE YOU MOVE is just amazing to me. What was their reasoning for making you move?
I don't think it needs a new thread. But the Captain of the James Joseph.... I heard many stories.
Things like if your in 'his" spot he get his boat and push you out of the way. I have even heard stories he shot at people.
What do you personally know as truth and what is people making a good...
I went fishing with a friend near there. I was very early in the morning and we were hungry. The problem was we stunck to high hell of bait. We felt ackwanrd, but stripped on the parking lot to cleaner clothes. When we got in we realized naked fishermen in the parking lot was the least weird...
I heard stories about the that Captain, which included shooting at other boats. Not sure how much I heard it true. I also heard some guys found him later and let their feeling known. You never know how much is true and what was from someones imagination.
Two of my boat fenders were looking a bit soft. (see pic)
I was going toblow them up a bit, expecting a valve like a football or basketball. But there a hard black plug there. (see second pic) I assume you don't pry those out.
Are these two fenders considered sealed?
The opinion of an experienced Captain and others on this board are always welcome.
After reading the replies, I decided to spend a whole $10 and purchase Fluke Candy Hi-Lo Rigs
I promised myself a long time ago not to do the same old, same old every year try at least one new thing every year...
Went to a seminar where they were mentioned. I had never heard of them before. They mentioned Fluke Candy Hi-Lo Rigs. Looking for feedback if you have used them.
