I would say AG3 nailed it again…..tough to say what we got here in E NPT cause of the drifts but 12-15 is a decent guess. Luckily it wasn’t a “heavy” snow, and the boy is old enough to run the machines with no issues…..why am I hearing about next weekend already!!!!

For those of us who have teenagers who are looking for their first car....what did they offer?

Not terrible...didn't see any accidents from Mattituck to Ronkonkoma.

Left Mattituck at 7:15, put her in 4WD. Slippery and slow until I got to 25. Still slow but somewhat plowed, but still snow covered. Kept it at 45 on the LIE..finally found pavement @ 112. Pulled into Ronkonkoma at 8:45...surprisingly didn't see any accidents.

Perfect weather for my parents to drive from out east to catch an 11:00am flight out of ISP so they can do their florida snowbird thing. Looks like I will be going out there and sleeping over tonight...the hard part will be talking my dad into not driving.

Hey Jay...I cant blame the HPDI...its the trim pump, or the relay, or the connection...we shall see

Had to go one more time on Saturday. Cleaned out the remaining crabs from Mark at Cow Harbor. Surprised to see we were the only ones at the ramp at 9am. Headed out on the flat calm Sound and anchored up at 40 ft. Sporadic action for us as the incoming slowed. The fish were all 14 inches and...

Truth be told, I've been eyeing the weather for two days, and I think I've twisted my own arm to go one more time tomorrow. Going to scratch that itch before its no longer an option.

Had a friend who used them for two years. He liked it overall, but didn't like that the boat had to be back before sunset. Overall positive experience for him, but that was using the boats here on LI.

Got out early Thanksgiving morning with my daughter Ally and cousin Mark from VB. The boat was originally his, so this trip had to happen to get him back on his former vessel, and mother nature made it an easy day to run her, Broke the inlet at 7am and headed out to 11b in calm conditions...

Fantastic post Jay...nice weather, boat ran well, lots of fish and time with your son...cant ask for anything more than that!

Got out early sat...flat calm Sound had me thinking of going across to CT side, but I trusted the forecast and hard South wind that was coming. Went to the middle and fished 55ft at 11B, with the outgoing barely moving. Stayed there until the tide really picked up as well as the wind and seas...

Fantastic report Jay. Yes, the college process is tough, but well worth it. 8 doz crabs and not one keeper! We found bigger fish in the 40-50 ft depths this weekend. Hoping the temps on the sound dont drop too drastically as they have the past week. Went from 62 last weekend to 58 this.
