Living in the next town over, there are tons of issues with the NYS public school system. Luckily, 2/3 of my kids have graduated, and my youngest is now a sophomore in HS. They are for all intents and purposes regular well adjusted kids. I tend to believe that the rigors of sports in their lives...
Got out Friday after work with fellow “Amigo” Fish4Me as well as my neighbor Rich. Messed around with the porgies and sea bass for an hour, had a visit from the DEC, and then went to the pasture. The big girls didn’t make us wait long to show up. Sun was setting and the reels were singing..big...
I've been on both sides of this story. Out on my cousins ride in the GSB going for fluke. I brought everything I had and tried it all for the occasional short. Meanwhile, his FIL big Jim who has spent plenty of time on party boats is out with us, and has his single hook squid and spearing combo...
Kids wanted in on the action. Chunks on the bottom at 50ft and sun going down turned the fish on. Stupid fishing brought 8 bass to the boat…6 slots and 2 unders. Organized chaos for 45 mins…kids and adults had a blast!
Broke the inlet @5pm on Friday. Nice south breeze. Trolled around the platform for about two hours for the occasional bite which were blues. Chopped the tails off the mojos. The sun started getting low so we switched it up and dunked chunks in 60 ft of water. As soon as the sun set, the dinner...
Fishing after work today.
Sat...Graduation for the middle child Sammy..followed by party at the house.
Sun..Softball tourney for Sam, baseball for the boy..followed by a round of golf late in the day.
Enjoy!
People who laugh after anything they say. Doesn't have to be funny, and it usually isn't, but there is this nervous laugh after a sentence or statement and I end up focusing on it.
No turn signals in certain situations...lots of traffic, trying to merge, at an intersection and I don't know...
Got out after work on friday. I have not had a great bass season yet, and was itching to get on the board. Broke the inlet @6pm. I gave fluke a thought with 2 hours before sunset and tide change, but resisted the urge. Sent out the trolling rods `with mojos and within minutes we were rewarded...
As time was winding down in the third, after hands of stone Strome whiffed on the open net, I had a feeling TB was going to repeat game 4 with a late goal. Yes, they played better, and they had their chances. I can't find fault in the effort. I wish there was more body...so many times, the NYR...
Somehow the NYR got more shots than TB did. I didn't believe it, and the results didn't show it. Outplayed all around again, beaten to almost every loose puck, and playing an outside game. All TB goals came from in close, as did the lone tally for NY. To me, we looked like we are gliding taking...
Hello Jay...nice to hear from you!
Thinks are OK on this side of the Sound. The redone port side motor has been worry free. SB has been running well also, but yesterday gave me a bit of a mechanical issue. The throttle lever that controls the butterflies seems to have bent, or the plastic collar...
