    Welcome, PULL N PLASTIC

my cholesterol has always been low, but ten years ago my GP put me on avoristatin as he feels it helps to prevent strokes. I've experienced no side effects and I usually pay nothing for it, so most nights if home I do take a pill. My wife who could benefit from a statin gets pain in her legs...

    Welcome, PULL N PLASTIC

yeah I went for physical therapy and now regularly exercise. Not being able to draw my bow concerned me, but the fear of not being able to swim or kayak was the deciding factor. My shoulder does make some noise paddling. I tried accupuncture too but that didn't help.

Another Reason To Stay Away From Car Dealers

Many, many years ago as a new teen driver I went to a different service station for an oil change. Don't recall why I did it but I made an "X" on my oil filter before I went. Yup, while it looked like fresh oil, I still had a filter with an "X" on it, lol. Had my neighbor teach me how to...

Another Reason To Stay Away From Car Dealers

our dealer did the free first oil change on SWMBO's Crosstrek five years ago. (I always have done ours.) So when the time came for the second one, I was stymied by my socket not fitting despite reading the manual and double checking on you tube. When I finally got it out, after trying a...

    Its Hot

SWMBO asked me again why I wasn't kayaking today. We have mostly joint annuities, less life insurance, and one pension "goes" with me so it can't be that, lol.

    Crabbing on the GSB

just wish they were easier to clean, but then they would be overfished out of existence like everything else.

    Crabbing on the GSB

Agreed. I have never seen as many crabs trying to eat my Gulp! as I have this year. Without exaggerating in the course of a single hour I probably "bang" half a dozen off my bucktail by swinging them into the bow of my yak. All sizes, with some the largest blue claws I have ever seen. The...

    Its Hot

I certainly don't kayak in this ! The pool is only a respite after dark!! No fish or exercise is worth a heat injury.

    BB/ pellet gun recommendations

Amazon.com : sheridan 20 cal pellets. Amazon has you covered. and ebay has several for sale from $200 to $400. But do some research as to where you can get the "valve" restored. Bensons in Coram(?) was an authorized air gun repair facility and they all but destroyed the pump up Crosman I...

    BB/ pellet gun recommendations

they did not come in .177 or .22 and that lead ammo (.20 or .25? ) will be hard to come by. Go with Gamo, Anschutz or Feinwerkbrau or an older Beeman. They even have air cylinders that recharge now. My Beeman is same hole at 10 meters. Memories are just that.

    Peanuts or snappers ?

and they will probably, along with the snappers, move out by "length of day" so a short season I guess

    Peanuts or snappers ?

all my logs show I was catching snappers by now here. but except for the juvenile dolphins chasing tiny white bait, no sign of peanuts either.
