    Ward Melville 2025

I guess this question is directed to you. This show is a big hit. I love the show. But if you read the feedback on this post, comments like the ones below show a issue: I opted not to go. Still can't walk for a long time and the last thing I need is to be bounced off like a pinball. left...

Big Hearings Regarding Recreational Scup, BSB, Bluefish & Fluke coming up!! Make your voice heard!!

Not sure I got an reply to this question. I went looking and found this from George posted in Feb 8, 2024 https://nyangler.com/threads/fluke-and-scup-regs-for-2024-and-2025.6666/ "It is important to note here that this is the first time in memory that regulations have been applied for two...

Big Hearings Regarding Recreational Scup, BSB, Bluefish & Fluke coming up!! Make your voice heard!!

I am not sure how this would work. It must be me. OK, a for-hire fisherman goes out fishing and gets 10 fluke. I go out fishing and get one. How do you make sense of that? Does that mean my area has less fish? Does it mean I am much less of a talented fisherman? It could mean lots of...

    Holy Smokes 2025

I laughed when I read that. My family thinks nothing of saying..."Can you make a brisket?" Depending on the size of the meat, I often must get up in the middle of the night even if I use the Minion method. I have had some meat go 16 hours (at 225). Plus I like to keep my meat moist and often...

I was thinking the same thing. It is hard, and I have tried, to take notes of the seminars. Are any or all of the seminars recorded?

BTW: They used to let us in early. I get a parking spot at 7:30 ish, eat a breakfast sandwish and wait. Last year, for some unknown reason, they made us circle around. For anyone that has info on this....PLEASE ask them to go back to the old way. Why they changed it made no sense to me.

    Miller Place fish and tackle

I am thankful they are still around. I found this: February 10, 2025 - 15:14:29 Jim over at Miller Place Bait and Tackle chatted with me for a bit and let me know they are moving locations to Mt. Sinai, just down the road from the Miller Place location. More details to come.

    Miller Place fish and tackle

I passed Miller Place fish and tackle. The store was empty. There were other cars behind me, so I couldn't stop. Are they moving or go out of business?

    Knife discussion

I have never used Ali Express. But since you recommended them I will consider them a "safe site". The price is cheap enough. Washable or disposable?

    Knife discussion

This is a great thread. It has given me a reason to start a shopping list for Ward Melville. Hopefully Glenn Luckey will be there. I have never used a glove. I have had rare accidents but need to consider getting one. I broke the cardinal rule 2 years ago….”Never try to catch a falling knife”...

Librela may lead to premature death for your older dog

I had a very special dog I loved with all my heart. His name was Banksy. My daughter named him after the graffiti artist. Of all the dogs in shelter, he was the only asymmetrical one (patch on his eye) and that is why he got that name. He is an American Staffordshire Terrier with a heart of...

I thought last year they said the regs would last 2 years? I could be wrong. The new admin may have other ideas.
