We experienced similar Nantucket bite 2 weeks ago. My buddy and I were throwing back 17-18"ers (Mass. minimum size reg is only 17") and captain told us that's all they've been catching since an epic June doormat bite. How is your early season fluke fishing so far
Here in NJ our season opens tomorrow 5/22. My pre-season scouting trips were all shore-based and successful. The water is Crystal clear and you can actually see the fluke attack your bait in 15' water. Nothing more exciting when a brown blob hovers over your jig then jumps on it !!- hartattack
