The past 3-4 years I have seen a steady decline in the number of keeper-sized fluke in the Sound. It almost looks like they seem to be going right past the Peconics to points north. There are still plenty of fish on the south shore, but aside from one party boat, everyone's working those big porgy pork chops around this time of year.
