I can't comment with any authority, as I've never had a warranty claim on any reel - and would handle any such repair myself. I'd rather just buy the parts and do it myself, rather than pay two-way postage and wait months for someone else to maybe get it right. Basic maintenance is easy, but...

I notice that on this last build video no color preserver was used - which NFC says in required.
My grandson intro'ed me to Swedish Fish, but I'll be damned if I'd commission a rod like that.
Now maybe Almond Joy or Mounds Bar, but NOT Swedish Fish. Never!

Wouldn't work for me at any price. I'm a leftie and prefer my spinners to be cranked with my right hand.
Also, I prefer a slower retrieve for my bottom fishing (fluke/tog) reels.
I also like the carbon fiber guide frames. Looks like North Fork Composites (Gary Loomis) emulated Daiwa's high-end AGS guide system, except he'll actually sell a set to you. 👍

Geez, I did forget, gotta go with matching-color baits as well. These Blue Fuze Gulps are the bomb. Even more so when fished on a blue-themed outfit.
Nah, I think it looks kinda cool - like a "murdered out" full carbon custom rod. That's why some guys wrap black blanks with completely black thread. Not my style, but it does look legit when complete.
What the vid didn't show is that some guys doing this carbon tape thing do put a thin trim...
