Had a short window with 8 oz , lighter set up was a treat. Larger fish chewed when tide started moving , went 10-12-14 in 15 minutes.- Kona

Did another commercial trip from Montauk today , it’s definitely NOT over!!! After an exploratory drop in 85’ that yielded a few keepers and a swarm of c bass it was back to Old Reliable , 1 hour commercial limit for 3 guys , more like 2 guys truth be told. Nice run of fish with around a 4:1...- Kona

No! As I stated earlier it’s all about choice. If you CHOOSE to live in a high tax area that’s the way it goes. No need to “ even things out” by adding more taxes on the productive members of society.- Kona

Incorrect Sir. The reason our school taxes are low here is simple: there are any , many homes assessed at 10,000,000 + , they pay the same percentage of assessed value as the rest of us and pay the lion’s share. Nothing to do with migrant labor or lobbying for State aid. Choices ! No one forced...- Kona

No!!!! We all choose where we live and there are pros and cons to that choice . We’re assessed at 800,000 and pay 2,800 , Southampton school district . In Hampton Bays the same house would be assessed at 650,000 and pay around 6,500. Tuckahoe would assess at 800,000 and pay 10,000. Choices my...- Kona

Fished a commercial trip on Tuesday out of Montauk , between the WNW gales for 2 days prior and 20-25 with gusts once the ebb started we went from a lights out bite of 4-5 lb fish using 12 oz to a slow pick of just keepers using 14 16 to ZERO with 20 . Seems as if there is a “ magic hour” when the bigger fish chew. Some areas it’s when the tide just starts to slow a little bit , others an hour before slack , another spot we regularly fish is slack. Time and patience will let you know , sometimes- Kona
