Last season I caught a Pompano and saw several Cobia and a 5lb sheepshead as well.
Definately something to it but theres also the effect of overpopulation in the world. The amount of waste that is produced is head turning! Where it ends up is anyones guess....

Memorial Day weekend was when we would crush the fish at the JB coast guard station all the way west to Debs inlet. I'd be fishing the docklines in Debs catching flounder and bass while a ton of boats would be fluking nearby thinking I was clueless........lol
Well.......last I checked they had fertilizer and seals up in Boston harbor. Not being facetious but flounder like the cold water. When I see pompano and Cobia being caught here the last few seasons it leads me to believe that fish are adapting to warmer temperatures and moving north. Lobster...
