Another memory hunter and friends as a child,,,,,,,,,,, when my brother and I was young my father and mother took us on vacation ,,,,there was a place in Hampton bays call marine rest the guys name was Jim (I never forget a name)

,,,,,, he rented a few cottages and he had a small motel with swimming pool,,,,,, my parents rented one of his full cottages my mother didnot mine to cook,,,,,,,she loved to cook for us even on vacation

,,,,,,,as long we stay there Jim rented row boats ,,,,,,,,,,but he gave you a free rowboat for the your stay there ,,, yes free

,,,,,my father had a seahorse Johnson 10 hp outboard that we bought with us,,,,we put in on the rowboat and we were set to fish all week,,,,,,yes hunter flounder everywere,,,,,, we flounder fished everyday there i think it was tinabay ???,,,and caught many flounder with no chum,,,, my father leaned how to fillet by watching everyone there ,,,, and he did a fine job a it

,,,,,,, Jim had deep freezers there to keep your catch,,,,,,,,my father//brother// and I fished for flounders all the time there,,,,, by the end of vacation we had flounder for our aunts uncles and friends,,,,,my father over the years when he was living (rest his soul),,,, he always told me when we fished there we had about 4oo pounds of flounder we bought home


when we fished in Hampton bays and comming home with all them flounder with all our other stuff for vacation that we had had in the trunk with all them flounder,,, Joe remember on the southern state the back bumper was just about dragging

,,,, the memory we had as a child ,,,,,,,,,,, I also fished Jim's docks early in the morning before light and caught ton of snappers till my father woke up so we could go to catch more flounders

,,,,,friends stay well,,,,,,ps does anyone remember Oscar's boat rental in Hampton bays they were down the road from marine rest he had yellow rowboats I think ,,,,,, by for now,,,,,,,
