I fished the first 3 hours of the incoming tide this morning.I caught some short fluke and of course there was no shortage of sea robins I was also rewarded with 3 weak fish one keeper at 19" and a 25" 5 1/2 lb. fluke.I guess thats not bad considering the way fishing has been in Jamaica bay lately.

On slack tide wind pushing the boat at about .5 knots caught these 3 in 45 minutes on the same 4 drifts. 22,20 1/2, and 18 3/4" the rest of the day accounted for about a dozen shorts and countless Sea Robbins
Is there a better guide beside Fugi single foot spinning guides I am tired of changing them out every 2 seasons when the ring breaks free of the foot.Rods ore light action fluke rods so dont want to use double foot guides.
fished Jamaica bay this morning 2 hours of the incoming tide 5 short fluke all about 17" on bucktail with gulp and 1 29" striper on a white bucktail some fun on my light fluke spinning rod took near 15 minutes to net it that sure made the morning.
Went down to the boat this morning to do some work and to my surprise I saw bunker swirling behind the boat in Gerritsen Creek in Brooklyn.Pretty early could be a good sign.

Took the boat out for a run this morning.Great weather no wind,ran around Jamaica bay boat ran well water temp.47*already on the outgoing tide.I hit some pieces I usually bass fish over, some life on a couple.:love::love::love:
