It was weighed in at Stella Maris so I can only guess the New York Bight area. I'm trying to get more info now.

Thats a hell of a fish, there ain't too many more that big left. Anyone have an idea on the age?

According to a Chart I found online, this fish was at a female at least 15 years old.
Also, on the chart - Males rarely reach 6 lbs at 15 years old.
