2026 Flukes

Haven’t Posted Ina long long time. Lots of fishing.

May to almost the end of June was painfully slow.
Some trips. Handful of keepers and hardly any shorts, some trips just a bunch of shorts, some trips not much…..

End of June till now.
Bay started to get going and had some real nice trips with fish pushing 7 lbs in the skinny water .
July we started hitting local hard bottom and have steadily improved from a steady flow of shorts to 100-200 shorts for a full day trip!

The number of keepers has varied based on the anglers and if they are bouncing those jigs and rigs or “ casting” when we are hovering around those pieces.
Most recent trip saw 15 keepers for the group of 5. All were 20-22+ inches. We threw back a ton of 18-19 inch fish as well.
