Seals, gannets, diving ducks (mergansers?), but didn't see any slots or bigger. About a dozen guys casting over a half mile stretch of open beach. No weed, light northwest wind, no sweep, one foot waves. Another beautiful afternoon on the beach, albeit with no dinners coming home. Kept getting line bumps from the massed bunker that came in within 50 feet of shore but that was about it. If I fished bait I could have easily snagged more than the one that came in on my teaser. (My 9' Lami is way too light to liveline one.)
Edited to add: Not wishing to spot burn or anything but rumor has it that a certain beach at a certain state park east of my usual had blitz action in the morning. It was dead by noon, just the occasional schoolie.
