With boat problems yesterday, we took the smaller boat today "Tipsy Tuna" a 26' walk around. Left the dock at 9:00 am. Lets say the forecast was wrong. We ended up going to the Hempstead reef, we only stayed an hour as it wasn't fun with the waves, we caught a few shorts, Headed inshore and fished the state channel between the Wantagh and Meadowbrook bridge. Conditions were better except for the wakes of other boaters. Again all shorts. Back at the marina at 1:00 and had a few beers.
