Headed out on HammerTime with the crew from Hook It Up. Just like everywhere else, it was sort through shorts and hope to find some keepers. Due to wind we had to use 8oz sinkers. I found myself using 12, glad I brought the Shimano Trevala with me. I almost left it in the truck at the dock. I had 6 keeper Sea Bass and 1 Fluke. Boat total was 11 Sea Bass, 7 or 8 Fluke, 1 Cocktail Blue, 1 Mackerel, so between the 12 of us, we all left with a little bag of filets. Week from now I'll be back to Montauk for another shot.

Thats the story of the season Matt
At least you got a bunch of seabass to contribute to the overall total!
Is yiur next trip your own charter perhaps??

Had similar results yesterday at MTK on a full day pb. Steady bite throughout. 8oz to hold bottom. around noon time winds laid down a bit and managed to get by with 6oz. Sea bass would hit the rigs if they weren't being jigged . Managed 2 keepers out of about 10 fish total. Dropped a big one after getting it off the bottom. many were skunked and some had their limit. Big fish was 6lbs.
