8/13/21- Jones local reefs

[Bassknuckles]

Went out at 7:30 p.m. to the local reefs. Forecast called for 2 foot waves well they were wrong LOL. Moved around to 3 different reefs and all were dead. A few throwbacks and no keepers. After getting beat-up we decided to head to the bays for the last of the incoming tide. Found more and bigger fish. With the heat and green fly's in the bay we headed back to the dock and docked around 12 noon. Disappointing day, Gas prices went up again.

The bite was off in the early morning around 1130 it was game on till I left at 3pm..

At least you got out. I had to have my Velvet Drive rebuilt in July and now that I am ready to go I have weddings and other crap taking up my weekends. I will take a bad day of fishing right now. Better than a good day at work for sure.
