OK Celly i was just waiting for someone to post that Chit !!!! GeeZZZZZ, Organic Roasted Seaweed Snack. WTF, Do you pay more for the "organic" grown ??? I have tried most of that stuff and for the life of me can't figure what people see in it. IMHO, it tastes like Chit. Organic saltwater Chit !!.
So maybe it's the "In thing"?

Here in the N East ,, they 'plant' in late fall / winter , harvest by March , can grow 20 feet in a few months ............

FYI there are lots of kelp beds right off of Montauk inlet on Shagwong reef.

Kelp has to be harvested before it gets too old , something to do with the sugar content ......
