tried this Saturday afternoon from 2 to 3:30 on an incoming. About a dozen fisherman mostly stretched over 3/4 mile on the town ocean beach, mostly that is until some jackass decides to fish 10 yards from me. You can not imagine how good I felt when I hooked up just 2 or 3 minutes later, knowing it was not another schoolie, and then brought him in the wash maybe 15 feet from this asshat after pointing to him and the fish as it was fighting in the wash. Able to use my 9' Lami Surf King with the gusty north wind. Schoolie took a homemade undyed bucktail teaser, the 28-29 the white bucktailed Kastmaster. No weed and no sweep. Home in time to clean the fish in daylight wherein I expected to fish until sundown.
