After night of eging

Finally found some calamari on 5/18-19 in RI, after 2 unfruitful trips to Hyannis, MA at the end of April and early May. Three of us caught about 20 gal from 10pm to 5am from a boat.
Nothing to brag about in old standards. But the night like this is hard to come by these days, especially with heavy commercial trawling pressure that not only destructing the squid population, but
spawning grounds (sea floor w/ kelp forest).

That's a lot of calamari. Congrats!

Beautiful calamari and some real nice sized ones too!
