Met up with Frank Sr and Frank Jr with my twin nieces, got to boat about 7 with sea bass and porgies in mind but the wind had other plans so we headed out anyway and knew we needed to fish in the back Bay Area of Huntington the porgies didn’t disappoint as it was a slug fest of mostly small to medium when I say small they we’re legal size but we we’re tossing them Frank Sr did his thing of pulling them over the rail Frank jr and I couldn’t keep bait on the twins line fast enough, after a few hours it seemed like it settled down a little only to get out in the sound and it was rocking and rolling it was fishable but not enjoyable so came back in a little and fished the entrance for the coast guard again it a porgy slug fest only with bigger fish in the mix kids finally had enough and we packed it in see what happens mid week

Happy kids with solid Scup action. That's what it's all about!
