The blackfish were chewing. But Saturday I couldn't buy a nibble. Maybe time to hang it up. In a small center console boat, its cold out there.

Ha! I slip my hands past my Grundens and try to get them in a pocket. But when the hand is out to fish...

I hate having cold hands.
I use simple neoprene rubber gloves. They don't keep my hands warm, but they will keep them dry, and I can cut crabs, de hook fish and re tie with them on.
The other key to keeping hands warm is a hot bite!

Thanks everyone, I'll take a look into all the options. @pequa1 that's what I'm talking about, the sting is brutal that I feel like I will drop the rod because I can't feel anything. I've only done cod fishing in the summer, but would like to explore more in the winter months. Chunkster I guess that's true, the more you do it, the more conditioned you get to it. These were the gloves I used.

It seems that if you're warm with gloves then you lose the dexterity. It's a catch 22. I was out this past Saturday and I had rechargeable hand warmers in my jacket pockets. I would keep them in for a bit to warm up then back out they came. I feel once the wind is not a factor and you have some sun out then the hands were fine all day, especially being anchored up.
