Fishing on a spawning ground during the spawn just seems so wrong from a basic fisheries management point of view. I'm glad that you think it's insignificant...

Ouch. I get it.

But I've been there and seen the slight pressure they get. They do get hammered on the way in and on the way out. But way upriver, where they spawn, there is little to no pressure.
