With consistent reports of Bass moving into my area, I decided to give it another shot. Looking at the tide and wind conditions, I knew it would be doable despite the intermittent rain.
Working the sod banks and mudflats, I had my first bass of the season slowly crawling a Redfin. The action was slow, but consistent. On the other side of the tide, I saw a couple birds working in the distance and set my course.
I saw some fish rolling so I switched to my trusty blurple superstrike and was immediately into fish. Had a dozen fish to 28" all released.
Might as well say everyone should crush their barbs if using trebles - makes for an easy release and causes less damage to the fish
