Captree fluking

Headed over to Captree to see if I could cash in on the great fluke bit that seems to be going on. Got on a morning half day boat (Jib) and was greeted by mate/freind Dennis. Son said there was no rain in the forecast so left rain gear at home. Got drenched from the start but forrunately the sun eventually came out and dried us off by the time we had to go home. Fished the ocean to start and fish were coming over the rail immediately. First drift a nice 5-6lb fish behind me. Boat was fairly empty and we were fishing 1 side the whole trip. Some drift produced well, others not so much. Bite was not as great as previous day but still plenty of fish being caught. Had my first double header in a long time. Captain decided to head to the inlet area to end the day but that did not produce much. 2 keepers for a half day trip... bluefish were there for those that wanted them and had the gear for them. Hitting metal as it touched the water. Great day on the water... Home by lunch time.
