Maybe just not appealing anymore. I really do not watch much sports anymore. Once politics got involved a couple years ago, well, just turned it off and made better use of my time.

Once the Astros were caught cheating and not one single player was punished(given "immunity"), I tuned out.

They threw Pete Rose out of the game and blackballed him for (In my opinion) much less!

That said, the baseball I remember was about moving the runners, stealing bases not just wait for the long ball. Pitchers get paid big $$$ to pitch 5 innings.......................Joke
