Deer hunting in NY could be crowded this year as license sales explode

I’m happy to see people take advantage of what we have to offer with fishing and hunting in ny, my concern is the lack of safety with the online classes this year back in the day it took me two full days on the weekend to get my bow hunting certificate, I had a friend get his bow certificate in a few hours. Hopefully everyone is safe out there be smart and know your target and beyond.

Permit sales boomed up here too. We're nearing the end of the season and so far, knock on wood,....

I refuse to finish that sentence.

BUT, the butchers who process deer are way behind!! Increased permits and increased success means that Bambi Burgers are what's for dinner!!
