Without breaking the bank, I need to replace my landing net after the hoop separated landing a blue yesterday. I have an old one with a dilapidated net but am unable to separate the hoop from handle and so can't reuse the net from the broken one. Amazon had practically none that did not fold or telescope. I need neither attribute and had negative expriences with such nets when I had motorboats. Paying 50 bucks for a net just seemed crazy and so many had hoop sizes way narrower in width than the 16" I am accustomed to. Plus, I don't want a short handle like a wading trout guy would use, nor a four foot handle better suited for motorboats. I fish for fluke, weaks and bay blues. Yakkattak seems to fit the bill, but not the one with that ergonomic handle that would not fit in a standard gunnel type rodholder. Any others? Reviews?
