Could alcohol possibly be involved?
WOLFEBORO, N.H. —
No injuries were reported after a hit-and-run boat crash on a New Hampshire lake Saturday night, according to authorities.
New Hampshire State Police Marine Patrol said around 11 p.m. on Saturday, they got a call for a boating crash on Lake Winnipesaukee in Wolfeboro.
When officers got there, they found a 50-foot SeaRay boat, registered out of Windham, that ended up on the rocks in Winter Harbor after crashing into an unoccupied docked boat, authorities said.
Marine Patrol said the SeaRay operator was taken from the scene by another boat, a Well Craft, registered out of Pelham, before officers arrived. Several passengers were also taken from the scene, heading towards Tuftonboro.
The Well Craft was found docked at a house in Tuftonboro on Sunday morning, Marine Patrol said.
