Got out Monday, fished Moriches bay. We were in the water by 7a m, caught the end of the incoming. Overcast skies with a bit of wind out of the east sure made for comfortable fishing (should have brought a long sleeve tee). Loads of action with short fluke (not too many robins either), till the tide crapped out. Headed toward the east side of the lnlet for the tide change. Pickings were slow, guess they liked the incoming. Caught only a few over the next several hours, did manage one beauty but it never made it into the net. When the sun came out it got a bit uncomfortable for me. My shoulder started to get sore from all the jigging lol. Called it a day around 3pm and headed home. Nothing for dinner but its always great to get out!
